The view from Andrew Berg’s cabin site on Tustumena Lake. The glacier-fed lake begins at the foot
of the Kenai Mountains which rise to over 5,000 feet above the lake elevation. Ice fields among the
peaks generate severe winds which can roar down to the lake with little warning.
